چکیده

Hydrologic models play an indispensable role in managing the scarce water resources of a region, and developing countries, availability distribution data are challenging. This research aimed to integrate compare satellite rainfall products, namely, Tropical Rainfall Measuring Mission (TRMM 3B43v7) Precipitation Estimation from Remotely Sensed Information using Artificial Neural Networks-Climate Data Record (PERSIANN-CDR), with GR2M hydrological balance model over diversified terrain Awash River Basin Ethiopia. Nash–Sutcliffe efficiency (NSE), percent bias (PBIAS), coefficient determination (R2), root mean square error (RMSE) Pearson correlation (PCC) were used evaluate products hydrologic performances basin. The estimations both showed higher PCC (above 0.86) areal observed Uplands, Western highlands, Lower sub-basins. However, it was weakly associated Upper valley Eastern catchments basin ranging 0.45 0.65. findings assimilated exhibited that 80% calibrated 60% validated watersheds had lower magnitude PBIAS (<±10), which resulted better accuracy flow simulation. poor performance (≥±25) only Melka Kuntire 3B43v7 PERSIANN-CDR), Mojo Metehara (in all sets), Kessem watersheds. Therefore, integrating these data, particularly data-scarce basin, generally appeared be useful. validation ground is required for effective planning management Furthermore, recommended make corrections poorlyww performing before assimilating model.

Analysis of Streamflow Changes under Climate Change Using Rainfall-Runoff Model in the Kor River Basin

Abstract In this study, the predicted monthly temperature and rainfall data from HadCM3 model (base period, ۱۹۷۲-۲۰۰۱) and next period (۲۰۱۱-۲۰۴۰) under A2emission scenario were used to investigate the impacts of climate change on runoff variations in the Kor river basin. HadCM3 model output was downscaled based on a temporal downscaling approach (Change Factor) and spatial downscaling appro...

Application of Hydrological Model PRMS to Simulate Daily Rainfall Runoff in Zamask-Yingluoxia Subbasin of the Heihe River Basin

The Precipitation-Runoff Modeling System (PRMS) has been applied to simulate rainfall runoff in Zamask-Yingluoxia subbasin of the Heihe River Basin in this study. By using observed data in the subbasin, the model has been calibrated by comparing model simulations of daily stream flow to observed data at Yinglouxia station for the period of summer in 2004. Then model verification was conducted b...

Modeling and Prediction of Rainfall-runoff Relationship in the Yuanjiang, Red River Basin

This paper found rainfall and runoff was in a state of chaos in Poincare section and developed a method for constructing a relationship model of rainfall-runoff based on time series analysis technology. It aimed at estimating and discussing the relationship of rainfall-runoff time series by Euclidean distance (n>2). A linear model was well built to illustrate time-correlation characteristics wi...
